When Gerry Burton decided to expand his company in 2003, North East England was chosen as the next chapter in Windsor Materials Handling’s incredible growth.
Washington, Tyne & Wear was selected as the location of our second branch to support the local distribution, manufacturing, rail, ports, transport, and chemical industries with high quality forklifts and access equipment. With the A1M and the A19 just a stone’s throw away, all the major industrial areas within Tyne & Wear, County Durham, Northumberland and Teesside are all within a 45 mile radius of our branch.
Since we opened our doors in October 2003, Windsor Washington has grown in size and strength year on year. Our network of over 300 customers now benefit from easy access to top counterbalance brands like Komatsu, and working at height platforms from JLG – not forgetting a quick and reliable maintenance service provided by Windsor’s friendly expert engineers.
